What is Eyelash Growth Treatment?

Eyelash Growth treatment uses Latisse (Bimatroprost) which is an approved prescription only medicine for eyelash growth which, with continued use, results in longer, darker and thicker lashes.

Originally used as a treatment of high eye pressure, also called intraocular pressure (IOP), in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It was discovered it also resulted in changes to eyelash length, thickness, darkness, number of eyelashes, and/or direction of eyelash growth.

With continued use this product can improve:

When applied to the top of the eyelid, Bimatoprost increases the growth cycle phase of the eyelash hair cycle. By increasing the length of the cycle, the number of hairs which grow during this phase is increased, meaning fuller, more voluminous lashes. Your Latisse Eyelash Growth Experience

Before Latisse Eyelash Growth

Before Latisse Eyelash Growth make sure your skin is clean and makeup free and ensure contact lenses have been removed.

During Latisse Eyelash Growth

During Latisse eyelash Growth Treatment you remove the sterile applicator from the tray and whilst holding the sterile applicator horizontal, place a drop of solution onto the tip.

Starting from the inner part of your eye, immediately draw the applicator along the skin on the upper eyelid at the base of the lashes.

The process is repeated for the second eye and is left to absorb naturally. A new sterile applicator must be used for the opposite eyelid to minimise potential contamination.

Do NOT apply solution to the lower lid and avoid direct contact with eye; to minimise risk blot excess solution with a tissue.

After Latisse Eyelash Growth

After Latisse Eyelash Growth, applicators must be disposed of thereafter; they are for single use only.

Contact lenses can be reinserted 15 minutes afterwards.

Visible results can be seen developing after about 8 weeks with more substantial and comparable results usually occurring at the 16 week mark. Results may vary depending on the pre-treatment condition of the lashes. Remember that discontinuing the process will allow lashes to return to their pre-treatment appearance.

Latisse Eyelash Growth Side Effects

Some people can experience itching or redness when using Latisse. Less common side effects can also appear, such as skin darkening, eye irritation and dry eyes.

Latisse, when used as an eyedrop for the treatment of glaucoma may cause increased brown pigmentation in the coloured part of the eye. This has not been reported when used to help eyelash growth. Eyelid skin darkening may also occur in rare cases which may be reversible.

Is it Suitable for me?

The solution is intended for daily use as an at home treatment under the supervision of a Doctor.
